New painting in progress

I have begun a new acrylic painting on canvas this past week depicting a phenomenal and otherworldly sculpture by Berlinde de Bruyckere. Berlinde is based out of Ghent, Belgium and specializes in sculpture of various mediums including wax, wood, wool, horse skin and hair. The particular sculpture that I've chosen to interpret can be seen here: [link]

I will be photographing and posting the painting once it is complete. I'm incredibly excited to see it come to life...check back in a few weeks!
